When I was a young teen about 10 years ago, I had discovered some free editing programs for the first time and absolutely fell in love with the process of editing and crafting the narrative through the screen. Somewhere between the death of Vine and the rise of TikTok, I had practiced my editing skills on my favorite movies and TV shows and became confident enough to share them. After posting some of my fan edits to social media for a few years, I had gained some traction during the pandemic and amassed over 1 million views on a single TikTok video. At the height of my virality around late 2020, I had almost hit 15k followers and regularly gained thousands of views per post.
